What is Frame Relay?

A virtual-circuit Wide Area Network (WAN).

Designed in early 1990s.

Transfers information quickly and cheaply.

History
In the past, Internet used X.25 network.

It is a virtual-circuit switching network.

It has a Low data rate : 64kbps.
