Our Tomorrows, Our Forever..!!

So often we drift along these lonely streets of yesterday.
Passing strangers, eyes half open, passing moments,
passing shame.
Stolen lovers, secret smiles, happiness so dim and frail.
All we hold so dear, so precious,
all we show for all we fail.
Hopes of love and time and passion seem to fade with morning sun.
Until our souls embrace the darkness, fueling tears that cloak our pain.
For some the morning sun shall never rise again.
As for me, my night has ended, love has found me,
I am free.
No longer shall I tangle within the love of yesterday.
My heart, my soul, the fire within me,
has found a comfort, has found a home.
Within you the heavens open, guide, embrace,
and carry me.
Salvation resides within those eyes, so dark,
so deep, so true.
If only I could run to you without the fear that weighs me down.
If only I could call your name, have you love me,
need me without shame.
I would give my world, my very soul to share this life with you.
My tomorrows, our forever now lies within your very words.
Shall you grant me sweet serenity?
Shall we give this love a try?
Let us begin this journey here together,
live in happiness and in love.
Our tomorrows, our forever,
finally together as we know we both belong.
